A new leader in marine salvage
and emergency response

Ardent is a new company created from the merger of leading marine salvage experts, Svitzer Salvage and Titan Salvage. Ardent offers a broad range of marine related services — it's combined experience includes everything from salvaging the Costa Concordia to decommissioning oil rigs.

The identity is designed to convey the sense of calm and reassurance that Ardent provide in the toughest and most violent situations at sea. The logo, an abstract A, depicts a harsh wave crossed by a straight and steady line to emphasise this idea.

The muted colours and generously spaced typography add to the calm aesthetic. There’s no need to bombard clients with imagery of flaming wrecks or scenes of disaster, an approach taken by Ardent's competitors. A graphic pattern borne out of the logo completes the identity system.
